Biodynamic Breathwork
Where will your breath take you?
We are offering one-on-one sessions and group experiences of Breathwork, based on BioDynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release System® (BBTRS).
BBTRS is a therapeutic approach that uses breath as a main tool with the help of supporting elements such as movement, touch, sound, conscious emotional expression and meditation to support trauma release and healing on the somatic level. BioDynamic Breathwork heals trauma by releasing core tension and supporting clients to complete arrested trauma-related fight/flight or dissociated responses.
BBTRS was developed by Giten Tonkov. It has at its roots elements of Wilhelm Reich’s body-oriented therapeutic approach, combined with techniques of Peter Levine’s Trauma Healing modality. The system is based on the observation of how tension is held and distributed in the body-mind structure. It is designed to break through layers of body armoring, inviting the release of mental, emotional, and physical blockages.

Group Sessions
Together we offer regular group breathwork sessions in Chur (in German). Breathwork is also a key element of our retreats – see the overview of our events for more.
1:1 Sessions
If you are interested in BBTRS, please simply reach out. See if you feel more resonance with Carmen or Christian, we both have our own style and focus in how we can support you.
Session duration varies depending on what arises; please reserve 120 minutes (150 minutes for first session).
Sessions are fully dressed. There is no intimate touch. If you are curious what a session could look like, there are some examples on the BBTRS youtube channel.
We currently live in Malix (close to Chur), Switzerland, and offer sessions here. Depending on what feels right for you, we offer sessions in our home, in a rented space, or in your own house (all you need is a space in which you feel comfortable and some form of mat / mattress / futon; I will bring anything else that is needed).
